Heliotrope
Heliotrope is a green stone resembling jasper, however mineralogy is classified into large groups of stone called chalcedony. Heliotrope are the subject of many legends, such as the creation of one stone heliotrope correlates with the blood of the crucified Christ. Perhaps it may be rusty spots of iron oxide, which is abundantly present also in hematite.
Heliotrop color:
- green stones reminiscent of green jasper with red irregular spots
- red spots are different sizes

- Heliotrope is relatively easily accessible stone
- Brazil, Australia, China, Russia, India and the Czech Republic (sample)
